The recent collective sale of Lumina Grand EC at a land rate of $615 psf ppr has set an example for the future EC sites. This rate is lower than the top bids of when the Bukit Batok West Avenue 8 EC site was won by the joint venture of Qingjian Realty and Santarli Construction at $662 psf ppr in March. Such attractive rates for future EC sites are the result of the government’s drive to make housing more accessible to new home buyers.
